Move sequences are automatically highlighted and made clickable. If the previous move number appears earlier in the comment, the sequence continues from that move. Otherwise, it's treated as a variation from the main line. This can be error-prone with multiple sequences in one comment, so please use the Preview button to check your work before posting.
To force a sequence to be treated as a main line variation, precede it with a vertical bar
(|). The copy variation button (⧉) includes this bar automatically.
For more complex discussions, you can name a sequence by adding the name in square
brackets at the end, e.g. 15.p9 [a]. Later in the same comment, or in
any following comment, you can branch off that variation by wrapping the name in vertical
bars, like this:|a| 16.o13
The variation name must start with
a letter, contain only letters, numbers, and dashes (-), and is case-sensitive.
Comments use UTF-8 encoding, so you can include emojis 😉, non-English characters, and other Unicode symbols.
You can also use HTML entities like — for an em-dash (—) or → for a right arrow (→).
For safety reasons, most HTML tags are stripped, except:
<b>, <i>, <u> — bold, italic, underline<em>, <strong> — emphasis, strong text<s>, <strike> — , — superscript, subscript<blockquote> — indented quotes
<code> — fixed-width font<pre> — multi-line preformatted text
<br> — forces a line break
After 28.h20, I should have played 29.f20. But, I went for Achilles with 29.d19
onyx could have made my life very unhappy with 30.e17 31.e16 32.f15. But, he(?) played 30.f21
Yes |29.f20 would have been simpler.
|24.k15 25.o19 26.n16 27.r17 28.r18 29.s19 30.s21 31.g18 32.h13 33.g14 34.f14 looks winning for black.
But |23.j15 24.m20 25.g18 26.h15 27.i17 28.j14 29.p14 looks winning for white.
And if 22.o19 23.j15 looks like a similar win for white.
|10.o9 looks better than P9. For example 11.m10 12.l8 and I don't know the outcome but I prefer black.
|9.j15 threatens G18 or M18. It's good enough to reach the bottom, and much stronger towards the top. If you can help both directions, you usually should.
|8.k15 threatens O9 or double linking to P17. Then for example 9.r12 10.o19 looks good for black.
N15 starts a local battle, which is usually not a good idea so early in the game. Instead, something like |5.i16 which threatens G11 or T13 followed by white M16 looks much better. Play might continue 6.l9 7.s12 and I don't know who is ahead but this is much better for white than N15.
after 5.i16, 6.h13 looks like a clear win for black
