This is actually a Google Game Center real time game between myself and nie_wiesz. The time limit was 20 minutes per player, with 15 seconds increment per move, which generally compensated for the lost time on each move with this Javascript server. Maciej played 1.E4 which I swapped.

The seemingly dead peg on J15 turns into a life saver. White threatens L14 which black must block.

OR

OR
25.p20 26.r19 27.p17 28.p18 is a triple link for black.
So, 23.q18 was the only way to go.
