By |8.i13, I thought I was in trouble. But now, I don't see a good reply to my |9.g14. I didn't explore it very deeply, so maybe |10.k12 really was his best move. My confidence really rose with |11.h16.

When I played |13.f12, I think nie_wiesz must have realized the threat of M7 or L8—for example, |14.h9 15.m7 16.j10 17.q12 or |14.h9 15.m7 16.m9 17.i9 18.j8 19.k8. I'm sure his |14.i4 was meant to upset that line somehow, but I didn't explore how; it just seemed better to abandon that plan and attack directly.

Finally, |19.l5 was a cascade attack, which might go something like this: |20.i6 21.m7 22.l9 23.q12 24.n10 25.q8 26.o19 27.l16. Notice that M7 was part of the attack, so the plan wasn't completely abandoned after all.
