Thanks Alan. I can't get the bot to work so I have to pick human brains

In response to Alan's comment, I think looking for something like |18.q11 is natural since it's positioned well to make use of both the top and bottom of black's central wall. In retrospect, it's clearly better-looking than the played move |18.o9 since it fits in with the heuristic of "always have two ideas". What's the point of playing |16.k13 if you're not going to follow it up with something that threatens top and bottom connection?
Twixtbot finds no good moves for move 20. Gotta back up one more:
!18.q11 19.p12 20.p8 21.n8 22.m9 looks winning for Black.
My question is: how does one see 18.q11?
If |20.r6 21.r7 22.q8 23.s5 24.s13 then 25.t11 26.u12 (or u14) 27.q12 and that gets a little messy, but for example 28.r12 29.s11 30.p13 31.q14.
