Ah, what I wanted to say was that 14.g19 15.m19 16.l17 looked very tough for white!

14.g19 15.n18 16.m15 also no hope...

14.g19 15.n16 16.n18 destroys the connection in the middle but black slide to n18 seems to work?

Most white responses to 14.g19 I can see, black just plays 16.m15 - the key is connecting f21 with j18 instead of with k21.

It looks good, good eye! I've been throwing away a lot of good middle-game positions lately by missing moves like |14.g19. It clearly provides way more options and a more solid connection than |14.i22.

Trying to adopt as a heuristic never to make a move Perpendicular to the goal rows if there's a Parallel move available that accomplishes the same goal. Hopefully that will help me remember to look for things like |14.g19.

Also, this is the first time I have really realized how useful and adaptable the (5,0) jump sideways is (|14.i22 15.m19 is an example). Making a double threat out of 16.l17 17.i21.

Thank you for the game and the analysis!!
