Usually when I try something like |22.i7, someone comes along and does 23.g7, so I was really excited to find 24.g6. The sequence looked good against everything I could think of:

|25.f5 26.h9

Somehow, I totally missed |25.i8 which (unless I'm wrong again) tears the whole thing to shreds.

I think that means |20.l7 is no good.

I rejected |20.k8 21.n9 22.o8 23.o7 24.p10 25.q11, because 26.q12 27.r13 leads white right into a connection with R17, but now I wonder if I could have forced a draw with something like 26.r12 27.o10 28.m10 29.o11 30.p11.

It seems maybe |8.p13 was my first big mistake. Not sure if this play is in the wrong part of the board or if I just made a tactical miscalculation.

So, to answer your question, yes I agree that your move P13 was bad. Instead |8.q15 looks simpler. For example 9.s14 10.r12 11.t11 12.s11 13.s13 14.r13 or 11.o14 12.p17 13.q13 14.t17
