ok, 8.k9 here was pretty much a desperation move. Couldn't see anything else good to do, so I figured I might as well disrupt the bridge between j7 and l11. And, for the next couple of moves, I thought all I had done was cause troz a minor inconvenience -- that he(?) was going to figure out to get around me. But, as play went on, it kept looking better and better.
So, what I want to try to figure out is: after 8.k9 and assuming "correct" play by both sides, is there a winning line for white in the upper left corner?
