22.n8
seems obviously better, and I'm not sure how I failed to play it. I think maybe I was just discouraged.
I don't think it would have changed the outcome, however.
If Maciej plays
23.o12
anyway, then I was thinking of:
24.r7
25.r9
26.p7
27.s5
28.q5
29.s7
30.u4
31.u6
32.s4
33.u2
Later, I thought of:
24.p4
25.s5
26.r5
27.u6
28.s8
29.r9
30.q7
31.t8
. I was kind of relieved that didn't work, since I'd already missed my chance.

22.n8
23.o12
24.r7
25.r9
26.p7
27.s5
- this ladder chase is unstable. You can't just continue it. It ends with
28.r6
. If you try to continue it, the other guy wins:
28.q5
29.s7
30.u4
31.t5
.
In the bigger picture, Maciej has a strong j10 threat on the left side, and would probably abandon the upper right battle pretty quickly to play that.

My point of view was:
22.n8
23.o12
24.r7
25.k10
and i wanted to connect top edge this way:
26.i9
27.n7
or
26.q9
27.i9

Thanks both. I definitely should have known about the pattern Alan points to, but I didn't really think n8 was going to work across the top. If it had, I guess there was an earlier point when I could have played it and gained an advantage.
