As a beginning twixt player, have some questions on basic strategy. In this game, I think I know how I (as white) screwed up from moves 12 on.
In moves 2-10, black builds a straight line from k13 to g5, and won't be able to connect to the black edge on the upper left. And in the process just gives white a chance to build up a path. Black is an incredibly highly ranked player, so I assume there was a strategy behind this (and of course, ultimately black won), I just don't understand what it is. Tips? Thanks!
