|14.i10 15.d10 looks tricky, but then 16.f13, threatening e11 or d14, along with the strong tilt parallelogram with the i10-k11 group, probably puts it away.

Ok, sorry, that's not so good. After |14.i10 15.d10 16.f13, I forgot about the 17.l12 threat. Then, for example, 18.m11 19.j11 20.g9 21.e8 or 18.m12 19.n13 20.o13 21.j11 22.g9 23.e8.

Even after |14.i10 15.d10 16.f13 17.l12 18.m11 19.j11 20.g9 21.e8 black might try 22.h18 and one possible continuation might be 23.r18 24.n18 25.r15 26.o6 27.s7 28.s10 which looks winning for black. 22.i16 looks similar. Since black has this resource which wins the top right corner, I would have to say that Thierry's suggestion of |14.i10 would have been winning for black.

Let me just extend that variation a few more moves:

Well guys... if 14.i10 would have been winning for black 18 moves later I hadn't seen it...
One of the tricky problems a beginner like I am do encounter is that when you can see at a glance if a pattern looks good, I have to explore it a lot to make my opinion... and it is never garanted... Let's call this experience... ;-)
