My last move was clearly a blunder. Could I have won with this:

23.f12 24.j11 25.i9 26.i8 27.h7 28.j10 29.g10

I think so; I don't see any good response to 23.f12, anyway.

What about

|23.f12 24.i5 25.m7 26.j11 27.i9 28.i10 29.g8 30.e12

f12 is certainly better, but with so much of the board still open, it's debatable whether it wins or not.

Don't see why that works: 31.d11 32.g13 33.e13 looks good for white. Am I missing something?

I also think white looks strong in the upper right. For example, is there a good response if white simply plays |23.f12 24.i5 25.h11 ?

BTW, instead of "it's debatable", David should have said, "it's a Moot Point" :-).

First of all, wojtek busted my line with |23.f12 24.i5 25.i11 26.o6 27.m6 Note that wojtek used i11 not h11.

After |23.f12 24.i5 25.m7 26.j11 27.i9 28.i10 29.g8 30.e12 31.d11 32.g13 33.e13 I am also busted, BUT

|23.f12 24.i5 25.h11 26.o6 27.m6 28.k8 29.k7 30.i7 31.l9 32.l10 33.m11 34.j11 wins for black. h11 does not work for white in that line.

Thanks, David.

I was aware that wojtek's i11 was stronger than h11 in the middle; I brought up h11 specifically to ask about the upper right. For example, I guess |23.f12 24.i5 25.h11 26.o6 loses to 27.q7. I was wondering if anyone had a good response to |23.f12 24.i5 25.h11, but maybe I'm just beating a dead horse.
