After move 15 in this game I commented to calos57 that "This has the potential to get *very* intricate! " In the end, the game did not go in that direction, but I decided to write up what *might* have happened, while it is fresh in my mind, so it might be referenced from twixt.wetpaint.com at some point. This illustrates a complicated sequence of corner play that has come up several times for me in previous games.

Consider: if black follows 15.f18 with 16.g16, threatening to go through the gap between white's i13-i15 pegs, then white must follow a very careful sequence to win...

(1) 17.h15 18.h17 19.f16 20.d19 21.g18 or

(2) 17.h15 18.h18 19.f16 20.d19 21.h19 22.i20 23.e18 24.g21 25.d20 or

(3) 17.h15 18.h18 19.f16 20.d19 21.h19 22.e17 23.i17
